Not to sound like sour grapes, although it does, I'm always leery of transfers because more often than not they don't pan out or at the very least under perform. Good for you and good for Sun Belt basketball though nonetheless. You should go ahead and pencil the W's in now for your future meetings against App State.

He has a valid point.

It's great for you guys, no doubt. However, always be wary until you see results.

#41 Nationally, 4 star coming out of high school. I'll take my chances. Heard the same about Harrow and Washington.

Any Sun Belt school definitely would or for that matter most college programs. You guys have the same Justin Harrow that started off at NC State?

I always look at transfers with some skepticism. You just never know what to expect.

While there are similarities there's a BIG BIG difference...

GSU is going after and seems to be getting the bigger fish while ASU took in more low hanging fruit.

Pretty sure it is the same one.

I'll take 4 star transfers from power conferences any day.

Charlotte has two that will be eligible this year and I couldn't be more excited to see them play. As long as guys like these pan out, they can lead to better four year level recruits too.

Congrats to Ga State.

Getting a P5 transfer is meh. Getting several is not. Georgia State seems to have a knack for it recently. Its a little different than Brady.

RE: CBSSports: Jeremy Hollowell Commits to Georgia State
I think most are forgetting that we do have TWO high school freshmen signees coming on campus this summer. This is what Hunter had to say about Jordan Session:

Quote:PantherTalk.com: Signee Jordan Session has gotten a lot of attention coming in. He has great size at 6-foot-9 after a huge growth spurt, but he kept his guard-like tendencies. What is his ceiling where you look at him and what do you want to get out of him?

CRH: A taller, more athletic Manny Atkins. I think in high school they got mad at him for shooting the three. I told him not to worry about that. He's a great jump shooter at 6'9. He runs the floor so well. I love... I will tell you right now, [points to his SID, Mike Holmes] he will tell you I don't get excited about too many freshmen. Man I just think he's going to be really good. He had a coaching change which I think set him back a little bit.

I love the progression of our recruiting. Last year we needed two guards that could defend and we got them. This year I really wanted a stretch four. I talked about the success I have had when I run two guards. But when I get that stretch four that can shoot it, I just love it. He has the size, he has the range. I can't wait to get him on campus this summer.

I don't know, but my other school George Washington really enjoyed the services of our Indiana transfer, Mo Creek. Without him, 10 wins. This year, 24 wins.

What the blank is happening at Indiana?

GS never had many, thank goodness, but I cant remember many working out. Last I remember was a highly touted QB that left Ohio State and he ended up quitting during a practice. Its 50/50 at best.

RE: CBSSports: Jeremy Hollowell Commits to Georgia State
Good for Georgia State. As long as RJ and Coach Hunter are there together they will be a threat. The Cajuns could have some transfer news of there own in the next couple of weeks.

The league needs to get better. I don't want to beat Georgia State because they aren't able to get players. I want to beat them because although they are good we had a better team. The whole league needs to improve in non-conference. And, that includes the Cajuns. So, we all need to get better players.

Yeah 25-9 in our first SBC season sucks. And silly CRH signing even better players for the next two years. Man we are going to be horrible.

Comparing MBB transfers to football transfers? One there is no comparison. Two, Ware and Hollowell are both 4 stars. We will be fine.
