Yes but too much opposition in the SBC... Troy and USA would likely block it.

Their facilities outside their football stadium are sub par.

Baseball results are average at best. (SBC is a strong baseball conference)

And their budget is smaller than ULMs, and in a market about the size of Troys...plus would be the 3rd Alabama school.

Yes they have but no recent statements.

Baseball and basketball need upgraded all others should be ready to go. Baseball wouldn't be too expensive. Basketball will take a few dollars to get ready.

Our baseball is pretty good. Softball was in a super regional recently. Basketball isn't good. Rifle is a national power. Golf, volleyball and others are competitive.

Football will win no matter what level we play.

Our budget is larger than ULM even as a FCS school.

Our market is quite a bit larger than Troy around 800,000 within 50 miles or less than a hour drive.

Have to remember Troy has ***** envy when JSU is mentioned.

#2 Liberty, sorry LU, I like you, but I'd prefer EKU, and I don't know why other than that cool looking "E" on their helmets.
#3 UMass , who unlike Idaho are making stadium improvements. Good for them on that anyway. A little northeastern TV exposure wouldn't hurt either .
By the way, what market benefit is there with Idaho ? No offense intended, but who cares, let them play as an independent or drop down. If they're not intent on upgrading their facilities why bother.

lol....You didn't follow the link...it goes to Arizona State. We've abandoned ASU and are officially A-State. We only use ASU intermittently due to old habit. I was basically joking that the ASU fight was between you and them.
