RE: MBB: Another talented Atlanta transfer commits to GSU
this is what i wrote on our home board when the question was asked if ware will become eligible immediately. didn't feel like typing it out again.
Quote: oh he will. trust me.
this is why i have said hunter will be successful as hell as long as he stays at ga. state....even after his son is gone.
if he can just pick up the crumbs off the floor out of atlanta after the sec and acc are done picking it clean he will have some ball players.
then add in the atlanta kids that GO to the sec and acc and for whatever reason it doesn't work out.....that'll be easy pickings for the huckster. tell some top 50 player that needs to txfer to come home...play for a brutha coach.
i personally don't like the huckster. one of the cajun fans said he reminded them of jesse evans and that is a perfect analogy. on top of being a huckster i believe he knows his hoops. he'll get talent in the atl that western will dream of having.
so i almost ga-rone-tee ware is immediately eligible. who the hell doesn't have a sick grandmama. every woman i've ever met has every disease that dr. oz and dr. phil have had on their teevee shows. so all they gotta do is roll out an older female relative and you can damn sure find it's a hardship and junior needs to come home to help out

I don't think its fair to refer to Georgia State as Transfer U because Hunter's philosophy isn't entirely dependent on transfers as his classes have been a balanced mix of high schools kids and transfers.
Indeed, we already signed two high school kids in the early period.

Don't worry, they just upset that their high level of mid major play won't be missed.

If you are that 4 star, 5 star kid coming out of high school and you make it at that big time college, you're there for two years (at most) before you go to the NBA. But, for those 4 star (Atkins, Ware), 5 star (Harrow) who don't not make it there, you can transfer to a mid major team and play there for two years.
Either way both schools can get that talented kid for two years. Hunter stated he likes getting those high-level transfers because they are still uber talented, but way more humble.
Wait? What? This came from a guy that actually had his team practicing how to cut down the nets in N.O. prior to the championship game?? LOL!!

Yeah, winning one out of three games against us must make you feel good. Fortunately for you, Hunter couldn't make the blind refs in your backyard see the foul at the end of regular play AND overtime. Yet, you guys still find a way to only win by one point. You better keep having role players have career night from behind the 3 because that's the only way we'll be worried about ULL.
