Someone here has to tell things like they are. This isn't my first rodeo and I'm not going anyplace.
And you're that person?

By all means, take your distinguished position as internet ambassador, lord of all keyboards. The door has been wide open waiting for "the one" that has been prophesized. Are you ... "him"?

Hmmmm...in football Troy did carry this league but early on that would actually be UNT. You don't know your team's past football championships or who has done what when in conference.and you tell it like it is. LOL. Yeah you are a loon. Do they still let you out at night?

I don't really understand why you are calling me a bird but if it makes your day please do so. http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/common_loon/id
I would assume Loons are daytime birds.

No what's sad is grown men resorting to name calling and not even doing a good job of it. You could be a virtual saint of your community. So could I. It's pretty juvenile to hurl names and insult. Z was mentioned some place. He is one heck of a guy that anyone would be proud to call a friend. Keep things in perspective. We may disagree on things but no personal attacks.

A typical bait and switch from a few Louisiana fans goes like this: 1) talk smack 2) wonder why people are smacking back 3) "See, they hate us." It's instigated most of the time. See this thread for details.
Several times this year Louisiana fans have started smack threads where ULM fans have responded and they have tried to shift blame onto the ULM fans. When a response like this occurs they bring out the victim cards, like they are being oppressed, when they started it to begin with. Just like this thread. Some things don't change. This is not always been the case though. Sometimes ULM fans (or others) start the trash talking, to be fair.
That said, there are many Cajun posters I like. The overly vocal minority should not represent the entire fanbase. Troy has suffered from this in the past where two or three posters have been incorrectly assumed to represent the majority of Troy fans.
Don't lump all fans into one category because of a few fruit loops on a message board. As for Z I met him once. Seemed like a good guy to me. By the way Z how did you enjoy that Sweetwater 420? Having been to Lafayette 3 times I can say they are far and away the best fan base in the conference. They will love you and feed you all the food and drink you want outside of the stadium and cuss you out when you get in their home. Love them for that. Troy fans could learn a lot from them. Arkansas State is on the way up. Really was impressed with them on a weeknight at home last year. Looking forward to seeing App St and Georgia Southern this year and next year in person because I expect them to be on the UL level.
SoBama on the other hand has the worst fans of any school that has never accomplished anything that I've ever seen in my life.

They've changed the last couple of years. Conference realignment has turned some of them into LaTech fans. I'm hoping its just a phase and those few get back to what made them a great fan base.

Hence the word "few" sprinkled through and the phrase at the bottom that says "The overly vocal minority should not represent the entire fanbase."
