Just came home and rushing cooking Supper and heading out and did not slow down enough to read the vote. I'm not against UMass coming in, but you guys need to decide what is best in the short and long run. Wish everyone the best.
Back home and this is from our Day 11 Spring Football.

LU is by far the least desirable even compared to an out of footprint football only member.
There are actually more people that chose a school other than Liberty as their least favorite.
Yes, realistically what it means is that over half the membership of this board believes there are worse options than Liberty. Even a larger percentage when you eliminate the number of non SBC fans who voted.
The largest percentage of anti Liberty voters came from The Eastern Division SBC Schools. South, GS, GSU, and App. ULL was the primary anti Western Division School.
The Eastern Division fans who supported Liberty, were almost entirely against UMass.
Texas State fans were very divided on the issue, with voters for Liberty, Missouri State, UMass, and EKU.
Arkansas State is Liberty's biggest supporter fan wise with only one ASU fan voting against the Flames...yet ASU we know is one of the key blockers to keeping Liberty out of the league.

You should try a job as a political pundit. You know the one that after the debate tries to spin it as a win no matter what. Four combined schools could muster up as must angst and lack of desirability as 1 school. Spin away put they are by far and away the least desirable school. That's a fact!!! The poll wasn't would you rather dislike LU or any of the other 4 schools. Even if it was, hell they almost lost that one. I thought they would lose but by this margin is astounding. According to recent reports the SBC schools tend to agree.

So the biggest detractors from LU are App and GS and GSU huh? The teams that have the most to gain geographically by them being added and the schools that have dealt with them and their alumni in the past. Yet we want nothing to do with them? That's what we call a clue.
