I wouldn't consider many of those college towns. They are just towns or cities thar happen to have a college. Williamsburg Virginia a college town? Yes Williaman Mary is there but Williamsburg is known for its colonial history and tourist attractions such as downtown corneal Williamsburg Jamestown settlement and of course Busch Gardens.

Yea, that Asheville N Carolina is all about Biltmore, not UNC Asheville. Remind me again what is Greenville well known for? Oh yea, East Carolina so I guess y'all should have been in there instead of Asheville.

I'm not worried about those cities. You shouldn't be either. Enjoy the AAC.

Bad example since William and Mary are actually almost part of Colonial Williamsburg. The college is on one end of the old city and one can enter W & M from Colonial Williamsburg. It is also one of the oldest colleges in the country.

I felt bad San Marcos wasn't on the list, then I saw Austin wasn't either and decided this list is full of ****.

Why because UT is there? I'm sure Austin is awesome, if I were a liberal. You spend anytime time in Lafayette, ever?

Cool. We'll whip ECU's ass no matter where we end up. Have a good one.

Until your head coach leaves for a better job than your back to sucking like you did for decades before he came there. But congratulations on the New Orleans bowl win, couple years ago. I know beating ECU and winning your second bowl game ever was a high water mark in your program history.

Well we did not lose to TOOlame this year like the Pirates did. Maybe that is a high-water mark not losing to TooLAME. In any case teams in the 21st Century. ECU 2-6 bowls, losing your last four OUCH. UL 3-0. Of course we kind of got some easy teams to beat teams transitioning to the AAC, SDSU, ECU, and of course the never to be overlooked TOOlame GreenRipple.

Just moved an hour outside of Austin. I wouldn't give you 2 cents for that dump of a city. We go there to eat and shop on occasion. But that's it. About to cancel that Austin paper I get. Way too liberal for me.

I wouldn't call Austin a college town, but I would call San Marcos one. I'm a bit surprised San Marcos isn't on the list, but from what others have said... It looks like their definition of college town and mine are vastly different.
