Are you referring to the Boro or Franklin when you say people have disdain for it?

I live in Franklin now and absolutely love it. I hope I never have to leave. Prior to moving up here, everyone and I mean everyone I talked to said we would love living in Williamson County especially Franklin and they were right.

6 home games in all years.

I think you're missing my point.

I do think you may have a bit of an optimistic view of who you're going to bring in to Boone, would you guys consider playing in Charlotte if it meant getting a 2-1 against say South Carolina?

I'm not saying you shouldn't have the goal of 6 every year, but unless you only sign 1-1's and never play more than one money game in a season, you're probably going to occasionally run into a sitituation like we did in 2012.

Why play in Charlotte? Might as well do a one and done unless the opponent wants to pay us good money for both away games and we split the charlotte payout.

If we can't get a top program to Boone let's just continue with the setup we have for 2015. 6 home games is important. So far our scheduling is very appealing and about the best I could expect.

Our fans would rather play ODU or Southern Miss at home than a bottom half ACC team in Charlotte, that's the point.

Again, missing the point, I'm not suggesting you play UVA or Indiana in Charlotte, I think both of those schools would come to Boone, probably for a 1-1(at least in Indiana's case) playing in Charlotte would be to get a "home game" against a regional P5 school that would never come to Boone, like South Carolina.

Playing 2-1 against mid tier ACC or SEC schools is not bad business, and don't forget as power conferences go to 9 game schedules, there will be less games to go around. Those 1-1 or even 2-2 with CUSA/MAC members are great, but I think you underestimate the excitement that hosting an ACC or SEC school can generate.

Playing South Carolina in Charlotte worked out well for ECU several times.
Would imagine we would do that.
Still remember trying to get out of Williams-Bryce Stadium in Columbia when
App State beat South Carolina and would have to be easier in Charlotte.

Nope, got your point, not very hard to understand. Perhaps you don't get my point.

Georgia Southern adds West Virginia & Kent State to Future Football Schedules

The Georgia Southern Eagles have added games against West Virginia and Kent State to their future football schedules, FBSchedules.com has confirmed.

Georgia Southern and West Virginia have not yet completed a format contract, but have signed a “term sheet” that has the Eagles traveling to Morgantown to face the Mountaineers on September 5, 2015. Georgia Southern will receive a guarantee of $850,000 for their first meeting against WVU.

The Eagles have also scheduled a home-and-home series with the Kent State Golden Flashes. In the first game of the series, Georgia Southern will travel to face Kent State at Dix Stadium on September 22, 2018. The Eagles will then host the Golden Flashes at Paulson Stadium in Statesboro on September 21, 2019.

Georgia Southern is moving up to the Football Bowl Subdivision from the FCS and will become an official member of the Sun Belt Conference on July 1. The Eagles have been a perennial power in the FCS, having won six national championships and shared or won the Southern Conference title ten times.

The 2015 contest at West Virginia tentatively completes Georgia Southern’s non-conference schedule that season. After opening at WVU, the Eagles host Western Michigan (Sept. 12) and The Citadel (Sept. 19) before later traveling to take on Georgia (Nov. 21).
