If it's between Lamar and Liberty, I say we invite the one that is willing to change their name to either "University of Lamar" or "University of Liberty".

It will work with the two ASU's and the two GSU's.

Eh, as far as I have seen stAte and app state have had the smallest name conflict; we joined and immediately said we aren't asu now but app state, crisis over, easy.

Texas State = TXST

TSU = Texas Southern

We do not use TSU, never have....ask TSU about it.
