I don't think the two committees communicate all that well. GTown was allegedly one of the last 4 out and are a 4 seed in the NIT.

Yeah, I understand the two don't exactly confer. But a three seed is nowhere near a berth in the NCAA. We actually went backwards from last year.

I'd say that the CBI has slightly more prestige than the CIT. But that might be because we even got into the CIT when Robo Doh was our coach, and didn't sniff the CBI
