MyBB Tulsa Champs of C-USA
Quite an accomplishment for Tulsa to win the regular season and tourney championships after the way their season began.

I'm usually pretty bitter and jealous but this year I genuinely hope Tulsa makes some noise.

Why not? I've never seen a team jack up 3's like that and still lose. It was a fight up the last minute.

15 fouls. I know we were slowing it late but at that point we were already at 10+

I'm happy for you guys bit it still sucks for CUSA. Our representative this year is just another headed for the American.

Tulsa played a hell of a good game today. Tulsa is almost a mirror image of our LA Tech team. They rely on quickness and hustle. Tulsa played great today, and didn't make any excuses about being tired, etc...

Danny Manning is a hell of a coach. Congrats to Manning and Tulsa. I hope they make the Elite 8.

???

La Tech made 11-25 (44%). Tulsa made 5-6 (83.3%).

I've never seen a team shoot 83.3% from three and only win by 9. It was certainly a dominant performance for Tulsa down the stretch. Held Tech scoreless for about five minutes starting at the eight minute mark. Tulsa went from one down to six up in that five minute stretch.

It was a very gritty, physical, hard fought game. I tip my hat to Tulsa and Coach Manning.

Ouch. My face is stinging from that slap.

If teams shoot better than 45% from three against us, we are vulnerable. We have won some of those games by having good shooting games or getting a big advantage from the free throw line. But it's hard to beat a team that shoots 48% from three AND shoots 28 more free throws.

33 pts vs. 15pts

Stats have changed since I last checked. Tulsa was 5-9.

Tulsa made 18 two-point baskets to Tech's 6. That's a 24 point difference. Six total baskets inside the arc! Wow!
