I'd rather have NCAA and win a game. NCAA is more money. We did NIT last year. At one point, you have to want more.

Not me. There is much more money (and prestige) in a one and done in the NCAA than a deep run in the NIT.

NCAA berth is worth about 1.5 million dollars per game. USM wouldn't get all of that, the conference would get some. I'm not really sure how CUSA divides up the credit money.

Hell no. NIT sucks.

I saw a post somewhere that explained it as such. Each NCAA credit (game played) is worth $250,000 per year for six years. The team earning the credit gets $200,000 of the $1,500,000 for the first credit and $100,000 of the $1,500,000 for each subsequent credit. 60% of the remaining money is divided equally among every team. The remaining 40% is divided based on division 1 wins. Each team receives a percentage equal to this percentage: its D1 wins divided by total conference D1 wins.

Thanks for the explanation.

The A10 was more generous with the credits for the teams that earned them. I think they got 75%
