College Conspiracy Video
This is a long video, College Conspiracy by NIA, but really goes into student loans of $840 Billion now and the use of college.
I thought it went over the top about half way through, but still informative. Some will be upset by it.
I was pretty much, but a lot of it makes sense. Hard to believe that 70.1% of high school grads are
going to college as of 2009.

RE: College Bubble Video
Not trying to discourage college but some people need to watch that video before
they think about taking out college loans.
Will make some kids an indentured servant the rest of their lives.
With all the new technology shouldn't the cost of education in the world be getting cheaper?
Why not a national online library to take whatever courses you need?
Are we perpetuating colleges unnecessarily? Should they now be mainly used
to do research and on hands training after you learn the theories and basics through video
on online instruction before enrolling.
Governments 90/10 Rule makes sense as to why colleges have to keep on raising their
fees.

RE: College Conspiracy Video
Yup, agreed 100%. The whole industry is a racket. Read a really in depth feature story that credited the President of Georgetown as the one who really pioneered skyrocketing education costs. His whole philosophy was to hike the cost of tuition, build like crazy on campus, give a feeling of a growing and prosperous U, attract more students, hike tuition again.

That has been adopted nationwide now. Is there a school in the Sun Belt who hasn't built a lot of stuff on campus and raised tuition in the last ten years.

Glenn Reynolds talked about his book, The New School: How the Information Age Will Save American Education from Itself, in which he argues that Americans need to start looking for alternatives to our public and higher education systems, which he argues are either subpar, too expensive, or both.He proposed a multipronged approach made up of charter and private schools and online education.Mr.Reynolds spoke at an event in New York City hosted by The Manhattan Institute.
