Don't blow it like we did against Texas Tech. We essentially spotted them 21 points before the game even started, our crowd died before they had a chance to cheer for much of anything.
Quick Story:
We were fresh off of a huge upset 31-13 win at the University of Houston to open the season. Tech gets the ball to start the game. They get a pass interference call first set of downs, then go 3 and out, go for it on 4th down, and don't convert. We get the ball at our 45. We're driving the ball down to score. Then our QB throws a pick 6. They kick off to us, our KR drops the ball, they score in 1 play. They kick off, we go 3 and out, then punt. They score in 4 plays. Down 21-0 in about 2 mins.

Normally, I think we would reject this. But talk is the final number they have offered is 1.5 times our total football budget in a given year. That amount of money could be used to help with facilities, and be able to be used to help with salaries and the like, but it would also cost us the opportunity to play a home game against a potential top 15 team.
Should we move the game...or keep it in Jonesboro?
Either you are a big time program or not. Time to put your big boy pants on.
Which would you feel worse about... losing a close game in St. Louis knowing you might have won it in Jonesboro... or getting blown out in Jonesboro knowing that you could have had $2 million. And which of those is more likely to happen?
I would give Arkansas State a 1 in 10 chance of beating them even at home. But that one time that you do... wow that would be one for all time.

Classic heart vs. brain debate.
This would likely be the biggest game ever in Jonesboro. That should be made clear to every fan, booster, and even resident of that part of the State. Even hog fans might well buy tickets to see an SEC team and especially one they hate. With the right push and promotion of the game, I can't imagine you couldn't sell close to 25,000 tickets (even at 50 bucks) before you open it up to Mizzou fans who would surely buy the rest.
Jonesboro is what 30 miles from the Missouri border. I would imagine a big crowd of Mizzou fans from SE Missouri would make the drive, considering it would be less than 2 hours for them to see a game.

You do know that the big boys are selling games to places like Atlanta and Dallas?
If I read the OP correctly the new deal is for 1.5x your yearly FOOTBALL budget, right? What do you spend on football? 4, 6, 8Million? so lets say they offer you $6Million to play up there, but you have to buy xxxx amount of tix (kinda like a bowl game). That is a huge pay day. You include the tix in your season tix package (because it technically is a home game and will count towards your attendance average). This allows the you to hopefully promote and increase season tix sales, keeps Mizzou fans from buying up season tix to just watch one game and leave your stadium looking empty the rest of the year, and gives your program a huge boost. Beat them and your stock jumps big time.
Go for it! You have very little to lose and a ton to gain.

I agree, getting paid big enough $ to play at a neutral site isn't doesn't carry the stigma that might come with letting them buy the game out from under you and taking it to their house.
If the pay day is big enough - it would probably be worth it. I do like the idea of including the game anyway in the season ticket prices as the next poster suggested ( I'm too lazy to double quote).
6Million plus payday? Just cant get a real idea of how much they are talking about.

In the words of Steve Miller...."Go on take the money and run"!
