and WKU loses one of their last 3, we will be the second seed. This will guarantee us a spot in the WNIT. I just noticed that UCA is in first place in the Southland and would get the automatic WNIT berth if they lose in the tournament. Lot of "if's" involved, but UALR vs. UCA would be a really fun WNIT game. Doubt they send us 1500 miles away, like last year, if both teams end up in the WNIT.

not how that works. 2nd place only gets wnit auto bid if 1st place wins tournament. if 1st place loses tournament, theyd get the auto nit bid. assuming they don't get ncaa at-large. at-large nit would still be possible.

I've got to hand it to you Mickey. That's either some good **** you're smoking, or you're on an LSD trip. I have no idea who the second and third games are with, but you can forget about a win tomorrow and the WNIT this year. No banners for the women, and most likely the men. Peterson can save some money this year. Save the travel expenses of a tournament and the expense of buying a banner.

You're right. In the past few years, I assumed us or MTSU would win the tourney and the other would go to the WNIT. If we finish second, ASU would have to win the tourney for us to go to the WNIT. If we finish second, and lose in the tourney, I guess I would actually have to root for ASU. That would be strange.
