Not to mention that our defense made App's offense look like Tom Brady and the Patriots.
You know a high percentage of the time the first team to score loses.
Remember that this year. Whatever you do, don't let GaSo score first, pass it on.
Was he the player our three defenders had dead to rights in the field and all of them pulled up and refused to hit him?
Yep. He had already come out hurt and that was his first play trying to come back in. He pulled up lame and the defenders just walked him out of bounds. I gained a lot of respect for App on that play. (puke)
I always will remember Coach Moore's wife going to the Watauga Hospital with one of your football players and refusing to leave until he was released. She did that several times over the years.
Our other combine participant Lavelle Westbrooks did NOT have a good day today. He was projected a 5-6 rounder, but may have dropped himself into undrafted free agency... Hopefully he recovers some at his Pro day and puts up a better performance.

At least he wasn't on the winners and losers today, so there had to be several others that did poorly. Sams was listed as doing poorly.

Anyway, back to hating each other.
That was Hudson Presume who was hurt. Maybe his Freshman year?
I remember his family talking about it (if I remember correctly). They weren't able to make it to the game and said Coach Moore's wife even rode with him in the ambulance to the hospital. Nothing but class.
I used to work with a former player and he said the App game was his favorite road game because your athletic staff treated the visiting teams so well.

The biggest difference between Jerick and the others is his explosiveness. He out jumped both by several inches in broad and vert.
I wonder how Southern lost any games, considering they played with bionic men...
we are wondering the same thing. It's a real head scratcher
I'm putting it on the ?coaching at times and the dreaded injury bug. A lot of the bionic men had technical issues.
Would think Albert Wilson had to be good to get in with his teams record being what it was.
Just think that could hold a potential candidate back from being invited.

haha. no. he literally ran that. but as I said, hand timed, so take it for what it's worth. dude is freakishly fast. He transferred from ECU, but never played with us for some reason, but practiced all season with us.

They really did clock him at 4.19, it was wind aided though. The un-official time the NFL scouts recorded was 4.24.
Coming out of high-school he had the 4th fastest indoor 55-meter time in the nation at 6.38. Which roughly translates to a 4.24, 40 yard dash so it wouldn't surprise me one bit if he ran about that the other day. Unfortunately for him he's REALLY short, and apparently has a hard time keeping his speed under-control (loses his balance, doesn't decelerate properly)

Torrance Hunt, graduate transfer from ECU. He is FAST. As everyone said, it's hand timed so there's a margin of error, but he was probably the fastest guy on the team this year.
Unfortunately, he only saw action in the first couple of games before being suspended due to an NCAA issue. Never got clarification on what the deal was there.
