Exclamation NFL Combine Under Way
Here are some winners and losers so far:

http://t.foxsports.msn.com/nfl/saturdays...and-losers

Georgia Southern has a couple of players there:

Jerick McKinnon of GEORGIA SOUTHERN
Lavelle Westbrooks of GEORGIA SOUTHERN

as does Western Kentucky:

DOWLING, JONATHAN WESTERN KENTUCKY
ANDREWS, ANTONIO WESTERN KENTUCKY

and Georgia State has:

WILSON, ALBERT GEORGIA ST

What really Erks (GaSo reference) me though is seeing Dakota Dozier an OL we wanted that decided to go to Furman but take all his engineering classes at nearby Clemson. We didn't offer the engineering classes he wanted.

Edited: Left Out the following from stAte and another WKU player.

Ryan Carrethers of Arkansas State
Andrew Jackson of WKU

No McKinnon? Funny because he did the same amount of reps that the OT they were praising. Most by far in the skill position group.

Lot of times the favorites of the writers have a better chance of being winners.
Sounds as if he did well.

FWIW

Jerick McKinnon

#1 RB Bench (32)
#3 RB 40 split (4.35)
#2 RB broad jump (11'0)
#2 RB vertical (40.5")

The shuttles are probably most important though.

McKinnon is the best athlete in the draft. May not even be a close second

My favorite thing so far was a reporter asking Ryan Carrethers if he was on the field when AState blocked the field goal at the end of the GoDaddy Bowl. His answer. "I blocked it."

He was with the media during the time Sam was at the podium so didn't get a lot of questions. A couple local media asked him about Ball State players.
