2014 Schedule
mentioned in strength of schedule (or lack thereof) article for Big 10:

"7. Maryland Terrapins: Aug. 30, James Madison Dukes (6-6)*; Sept. 6, USF Bulls (2-10); Sept. 13, West Virginia Mountaineers (4-8); Sept. 20, Syracuse Orange (7-6).

Why: Former Ohio State defensive coordinator Everett Withers and former Georgia Tech quarterback Vad Lee are now with JMU, which gives a molecule of intrigue with this “meh”-worthy list."

RE: 2014 Schedule
That's actually not a bad OOC for Maryland. USF will be better (couldn't get much worse), WVU will be better and their rivals with UMD and Syracuse is an ACC (albeit a mediocre one).

RE: 2014 Schedule
If Maryland want's to be bowl eligible ever in the Big Ten than they are going to have to play schedules easier than this most years.

Their conference games alone next year include Ohio State, at Penn State, at Wisconsin, Michigan State and at Michigan. Winning just one of those games would be a HUGE success for them and that's with what I actually expect to be an imporved Terps squad.
