Where will we be weakest next year
Assuming J. T. returns healthy, it won't be at point. We will be strong and deep there.

It won't be at the 2. We will be strong and deep there.

At the 3 we might have some problems. Someone will have to fill Leroy's shoes, and even though Stetson is progressing slowly, he is going to have to come along faster than that to get the job done. Maybe the new jucos will help.

It won't be at the 4. James might be our best player, and we can scrape together some depth among the new juco, Isom and Gus sliding over if needed.

The 5 could be a problem if Poulter cannot give us substantial minutes, so that remains to be seen. Gus will not stay out of foul trouble long enough to stay on the court more than 20 minutes a game, if that much.

So, the answer to the question is: we will be weakest at the 3 and the 5.

You might see Isom and White at the same time with James playing more the 5 spot and Mariek the 4. If they can put another 15-20 lbs. on both of them for next year, it will help. A great answer would be if Poulter could develop into a player by next year. Then James could play the 4 and Mariek could even slide over to the 3 spot. But don't count Stetson out at the 3 for next year. I look for him to begin scoring more if he gets the minutes he needs and the green light from Steve. Point and 2 spot should be solid with a lot of possibilities.04-cheers

I figure you will see that some, because of Gus' foul troubles.
