ULL eeked out a 1 point one win over Texas State. That hurts. Other than needing to win one more game, I've already rationalized not getting the bye. We never play well having a bye, especially when the other team has played a "warm-up" game. If we have to play ULL in the 4/5 game, I'd rather have a win under our belt before we play them. Still quite a few games left, but the 1-2 seeds are set if WKU wins at ASU on Monday.

In fairness though, mjs, we never play well in the tournament, period, regardless of seeding.

Well, the last time we won it we had one of our lowest seeds in recent years.

Well, the last time we won it we had one of our lowest seeds in recent years.

We also had the best team we had in recent years, although our record in the regular season didn't really reflect our talent. Solo, Matt, D'Andre, Alex, Courtney and others were veterans and could all shoot the ball pretty well. Fun team to watch and deserving of the championship, although it took a series of miracles to win the final game.
