Important game in Jonesboro Monday.. I am very worried about how we respond after having a rare 9 day break in the middle of league play. We've had two breaks of this length already this year, and got blown out the next game both times.

WKU does not blow out anyone this season, so don't worry about that...

Yes, but you also haven't lost on the road yet in league play.

First 5,000 fans to attend ASU's game tonight get John Brady's head...on a stick.

Unfortunately we were told its not actually his real head...which would be quite morbid.

I cant believe no one is jumping at the John Brady on a stick idea... Last Regular Season meeting between ASU and WKU...quite sad really.

Game is on ESPN3 at 7:05pm for those who are bored.

That would be a really tiny stick if his head is cut up into 5,000 pieces.

I was watching but not super closely. George Fant and TJ Price both under 20 minutes. I noticed my guy Price was playing terribly, but was this just a benching or was there any injury situation I missed?

Clearly it was Ark. St's game plan to take Fant and Price out of the game and they did a good job...Price was in foul trouble first half and never got it going....Amazingly probably both Fant and Price had their worst game of their careers on the same night....That equals no chance for WKU to win against about 240 DIV I teams...

Yeah, we game planned to shut down Price, and our bigs did a great job on Fant...especially with Van Slyke in foul trouble. Holding Price and Fant to two points combined pretty much turns WKU into an average team.

I was happy with the way we played though considering we used 4 guards most of the night.

Congrats ArkSt. The better team today won. See ya'll in the SBC tournament. Now go on and lose a couple more games so WKU has a better chance at the #2 seed in the tournament. 04-cheers

I figured you guys would prefer finishing outside the top two because you appear to get better the more tourney games you play.

ASU jumps both UALR and the Cajuns to get into 3rd tonight. Both UALR and ASU play in Lafayette this week, we'll know a lot more about the race for the 3 and 4 seeds and the single bye by the end of the week.

Theoretically, ASU is still alive for the 2 seed, since they are only a game behind WKU in the loss column, and are at home the last three weeks of the season, but that is going to probably take winning out, and beating Georgia State. I don't like those odds.

Cajuns have an incredibly difficult last few weeks, with two games against ASU, a home game against UALR, and trips to WKU and Georgia State ahead, but the bright side is, if they win those games, they will be able to gain significant ground on the competition.

UALR's ending schedule is the easiest, but they also have the least control of their own destiny. They will play only 4 games in the last three weeks, meaning a loss in Lafayette Thursday could ultimately cripple their hopes of getting that bye.

As a WKU fan and alumni, I would like to apologize on behalf of everyone associated with WKU basketball for that performance last night.

Was it Price that got injured defending the layup in the first half? They were looking at his jaw - but I think he came back in pretty quickly.

See you guys in Lafayette Saturday! We plan on ending that winning streak.04-rock
