There. It is settled.
For example, with all due respect you are a d!ckhead.
Or the modern day version of the same expression, "I'm just saying"...
Might as well just say,"Hey....I'm about to insult you."

RE: 2014 EARLY SPRING DEPTH CHART (OFFENSE EDITION)
Back to original topic. Heard Birdsong might be out for the spring because of the shoulder surgery. So the only QB competition will be Lee vs Schiele and Nittolo. I think there is at least one OL who had surgery too. And Dixon (WR) broke something recently.

Unfortunate for Birdsong if that's the case. I think he'd have his hands full in a tight competition, but not being able to practice won't help his cause with new competition, new coach and new playbook.
Any idea which OL is out?

Dixon had pics up a few weeks back on Instagram of him in the hospital pre and post surgery. It was for a snapped collarbone. He fell on black ice. he posted a pic of the xray- looked very nasty. This was a separate incident from the surgery he had toward the end of last season (obviously). It was left collarbone.

That would really put Birdsong at a disadvantage if he can't go this spring. I hope he's able to so that we get the best of both QBs.

Cunningham and Williams had shoulder labrum surgery. They should not be out for long.

Heard from a good friend of Deane Cheatham's dad today that Deane is being moved to LB.

That doesn't seem to make much sense unless the focus of the new offense doesn't rely much on a TE/H-back. Thought Cheatham did a great job there. I know he was a fantastic player in HS, but I seem to mainly recall him being a RB/QB/utility offense guy. I assume he played defense in HS as well? LB, I'd expect.
I guess the shift to the 3-4 defense puts a ton of emphasis on the LB's. Would think he'd be an inside LB.

After watching him play since he was 5 years old, I can verify that the kid can play on either side of the ball. He'll be a fine LB, and most likely an OLB at that. He won't shy away from contact. In high school and back through LL, when he was in the middle, he sometimes would get caught up in the middle of the field so I expect they will put him outside.

Just judging by the type of offense Coach Withers has talked about and what I can recall about the OSU offense, the TE is not widely used in that scheme. I may be wrong just going from memory.
That being said I think Cheatham is a good athlete that should be able to contribute somewhere on the field. The move to LB seems to make a lot of sense if TE is not key to the new offense. Running a 3-4 we need more depth at LB to be able to rotate some and keep fresh guys on the field.
