It would be interesting to know how many seats
on the South Side of the arena are sold. The Southeast section is normally always full of ghosts. I hate looking across there and seeing all those empty seats.

I don't know. A few years ago, JP moved us over a couple of seat from midcourt line. He asked my permission because someone on the other side of us wanted a couple of more seats. I said fine, although my wife was pissed. I still have never seen anyone in those seats, so we usually take our "former" midcourt seats anyway. I guess my point is, I don't have a clue how many of the leather seats are actually sold, and not used, or how many are simply unsold. Regardless, I have heard no rumblings about the program "shutting down" due to financial concerns. Maybe finances were why we played the 2 money games this year. I think Chris will do what is necessary to keep us in the black. At this point, I think the argument can rationally be made that our schedule helped prepare us for conference. Playing Florida even into the second half and leading Memphis until fairly late, both on the road, no doubt helped this team in the long run.
