One thing I picked up on in his commentary was he'd say that it was good that someone "didn't settle for a three point shot". Now that gives you the real clue as to our coaching philosophy. A three point shot is considered "settling". They want us to be driving to the basket whenever possible and looking for a closer shot. I can't argue with that philosophy, but I don't consider a good three point shot "settling". It's an integral part of today's basketball. But I guess if you don't have great three point shooters, you don't incorporate it into your system, except as a last resort. Interesting.04-cheers

We'd better hope they are cold, or it will be a long night. LONG night.

I forgot to watch the TV show, but heard Coach Lee do the radio show. Maybe we don't do everything first class, but we certainly have a first class coaching staff. Like to know what midmajor has assistants that compare to Coaches Kleine, Lee, and Cunningham. If we lose a game, it's not due to the coaches on the sideline. A ton of basketball knowledge and experience there.

And all nice, friendly men. Lucky to have all of them.04-cheers

Against GSU in particular, I think we have to do that. They have a short rotation, and we badly need to get their big guns in foul trouble, and we won't do that from the perimeter. We have to be aggressive and make them defend us where they are likely to foul.
