RE: If we add a 12th by June 1 who would be your 1st, 2nd and 3rd choice
I don't really think the correct question is being asked. I think the correct question is: Does the membership of the SBC feel the need to go to 16 members by June 1st 2014? If the answer to my question is yes, the there is only 1 viable answer to the thread's question.
1- Liberty
2- Liberty
3- Liberty
Under that scenario, any other answer seems to me to be pie in the sky.

In the end Idaho is no big deal. For half the teams they will make the trip every other year. For the others much much less.
More then the distance, they just need to start playing better.

You are not the only university that is ready to move on such short notice.

Plus if the Sun Belt just wanted to gt to 12 ASAP and add the "most ready team", Liberty would have been added last year. Instead they decided to wait.

Yep. Essentially the western teams will make more trips up north and the eastern schools will make a trip up there every 4 years.

Agreed, but are they willing to wait another year? and I don't know that answer.

JMU can move with just notification.
Missouri State can move with just notification (work on the stadium can be completed during transition).
Sam Houston can move with just notification (well, they need a bunch of money, but I believe they have a master plan that agrees to bond out the buildings).

1. JMU
2. Liberty
3. Mo. State
I don't care what Liberty's now dead founder said or thought; they have great facilities, plenty of cash, and most importantly they want to join. My absolute #1 would be USM, but I'm just not sure we could get them to leave CUSA.

Pretty much this. Maybe even Sam Houston and Northern Iowa at #8 and #9.

Sam Houston is a bit of a stretch. They need time, sort of like EKU.
JMU, Missouri State, and Liberty are the three who could move up with simple notification and basic transition time.

Yeah, I know they are a stretch, but if push came to shove, they COULD.

Also, Montana but that's not happening for many reasons. I'm not sold Mo St could do it even after all the talk on here. That leaves JMU and Liberty.

Which again leaves us with the question of do the SunBelt team officials want a 12th by June 1st this year or just Benson? Because I don't think JMU flinches by then, and then it's Liberty or bust.
