OT: Help me ID this car?
Photo

The photo was taken in 1957. I'm thinking it may be a Packard, Hudson or some other obsolete brand.

Thanks!

Do you think it might be a Tucker?

I'd say 49 Hudson is a possibility, but that front wheel well cover really throws me based on the other images I'm seeing.

My first thought was Saab but I couldn't find anything similar in late 40s to early 50s. The door handles are strange too. They are lever type and are in/on the upper section of the door (the darker gray in this pic), soft of between the window and the door panel.

I missed the door handles before. Very interesting. So check out this 1950 Nash:

DING! DING! DING!

The door handles are in another photo. They are behind my family in this one.

Thanks to all for their help and especially Torch!

When I saw it, I first thought Nash. My father had one before he bought the Studebaker.

Yep, I thought it was a 1952 Nash Rambler too.

I wanted to see if I could blow it up to read the name down their near the front quarter panel but couldn't seem to make it clear enough to read.

RE: OT: Help me ID this car?
Everybody else already got it. It's almost certainly a Nash, the wheel well design and door handle design are big indicators.
