I've been to many Trojan games for many years
and I've never been more disgusted and disappointed in our program as I was last night. One thing I've learned is that you win some and lose some, and that's just normal, but when both our men and women go to ASU, our biggest rival, and get blown out by 30 points, that's just unacceptable.
I was so upset during the men's game I couldn't even get angry. I just sat there in stunned silence (granted, silence is less silent for me than most people).
I'm really tired of excuses. James White couldn't play. O.K. But where is his replacement? Our staff has been recruiting for 11 years now, so their players should certainly be in place. Not acceptable. Does this mean I'm going to stop supporting the program? Absolutely not. But there are some things that need a lot of changes. No point in beating the dead horse here, but some are beginning to be fairly obvious to anyone who has followed our program for the past 20 or so years as I have. Our roof is leaking and it's time for the head roofer to begin to fix it.

No wonder we can't fix the problem. The guy that was supposed to fix the leak in the boat, is a roofing guy. I wonder if the guy trying to fix the roof is a boat repairman? When I was a kid, they used to call a guy that could work on about anything, a jack-leg or a shade tree mechanic. Maybe we need a jack-leg or a shade tree coach.
