RE: Women
At times at home the Lady Trojans can play decent BB. On the road at times they are terrible. No leadership among the upperclass players.

But give the Lady Wolves credit, they appear to be for real, and according to the paper today they started only 1 Sr. They will likely be very tough again next year. I hope they do well in Post Season.

We've got a lot of talent, but inexperience and poor free throw shooting can often get us. Still 6-1 in league heading for a 5 of 6 on the road stretch is huge.

I didn't think we were very good, but evidently we are pretty bad. I figured you guys were probably some better than us, and I guessed that we'd lose by double digits, but I didn't dream that we'd get drilled and almost doubled in the score. I was thinking we'd lose by maybe 15 points, not by 32.

I haven't seen a UALR team that outclassed by us in Women's play since you guys were a fledgling program that was first developing. I knew that we were probably the better team based off of common opponents, but man.

Taylor Gault looked like she wanted nothing more than to get out of that game. I swear she fouled out intentionally with a couple minutes left.

RE: Women
chiefsfan, our 7-year run as queens of the hardcourt are all but over, which is extremely hard for me as a die-hard UALR fan to admit. Heck, at this rate, we might not even qualify for the conference tournament, let alone get to the finals. Still, I'll keep on supporting the program, womens and mens, basketball and others. After all, even though we stink up the joint at times, they're my team. By the way...GO CHIEFS GO!!!!!

RE: Women
That's really surprising to hear; UALR and MT were really the only teams that were at the top of conference every year.

Well, I would like to give credit to our team. We played a very good defensive game, we shut down their team very well. We played pretty good offensively, we moved the ball well and were unselfish with the ball. Sure UALR isn't the power they've been but that's basketball and I promise you it will be a different game in LR.
