GaSt vs Louisiana
Thursday will be a big night in Lafayette as the Ga State Panthers bring their perfect record to the Cajun Dome. Should be a pretty good crowd, but fans have been lacking in a prolonged era of being a pretty poor program.

The teams bring four NBA prospects to the dome, the numbers one and two scoring offense, and scoring margins to the SBC. Right now Ga State is on a bullet to the regular season championship, the Cajuns in third place.

That same night TROY @ Texas Arlington play on the SBC network.

For those of you interested in a better game the cajun website provides access to a video presentation. In the past it has been pretty good, but not this year. I talked to the university today, and SideArms is supposed to be working to fix things.

Eh. How bad is not pretty good? Commentary? Scoreboard on the screen? Replays at completely inopportune times?

Yea, all of the above, plus bad video and audio. The audio is barely audible, and this year only a jerky picture. Kind of like a 1900 silent movie. That is what I was told is being worked on, something about side arms not having the right computer to handle the job.

I'm still going to give it a shot.

SideArm with no s and the school always blames the website provider when in reality it's the school's fault the vast majority of the time. I watched ULM's game at Troy on SideArm and the quality was great.

I'm interested to see this Payton v. Ryan Harrow match up. Hopefully they will guard each other so they can really go at it.

Both are studs and I've seen Harrow be completely unguardable at times. We'll see who is the best pg in the league

Is that a SideArm issue at your school only or what? I've watched several of our basketball games on SideArm this year and they've been perfect. Only issues were when the stream from onsite at the game crashed, was an internet dropout or something. It came back in a few minutes.

RE: GaSt vs Louisiana
SideArm implied a UL issue, UL said a SideArm issue. After the fiasco with the name issue, conference issues, facilities issues, I place zero confidence in the UL administration for telling the truth even when it would help.

I watched the UL vs Troy games, and it was perfect until it was not. In other words for some reason they lost both games after a short good run with the women game. SideArm issued me a refund.

UL, SideArm? Do not know, in years past the only problem I had was audio which I think was the radio guys fault because at some venues and games it was fine and others not so fine. In any case I was told it was being worked on and they thought it would be OK.
