How on earth do we come a missed layup from winning at Georgia State and two days later they are beating UALR by 30?

We have a long way to go also in basketball but at 9-10, 2-2 in conference right now we are better than last year and hopefully Coach Byington can get some inside players next year to make us better.

App. shot the ball well today (10-20 from 3 point range and 35 point in the paint).

When Hunter, Atkins and Harrow are hot in the same game we could beat Duke. When 2 of the 3 are slow we could lose to The Dukes of Hazzard.

We struggle to win in any sport when we play at Appalachian for whatever reason. We haven't won there in bball in at least 5 years, we haven't won there in football in at least 5 years and even in baseball we struggle to take 2 of 3 from them in Boone and usually it is more like we win 1 of 3.

Moines saying app is good at bball obviously we are garbage but it sounded like app was energized and geo south was in a slump either way were both in the #30 conference for bball

Every stAte loss I simply remind myself that baseball season is less than a month away, and then I can begin to forget about basketball.

After having beaten WKU at WKU.

Crazy year so far with GSU being the only consistent team. UALR made some tough shots against WKU, those shots didn't seem to fall today like they did against us. UALR shot almost 60% from 2 and 3 along with 90% from the line against WKU. Will neighbor was unstoppable

New athletic slogan for App - even when we suck we're still better than GSU.

I can't recall a worse basketball season for us.

ASU and WKU's women are playing for sole possession of first right now. ASU leads 29-28 at half.

Ga State is pretty good. Not a smoke and mirrors team at all.I don't think we will lose more than a couple of conference games..

MTSU went 19-1 last year in league. Want to guess how they did when it counts? Same thing the previous season just about.

GSU reminds me of our 07-08 team. We only lost 2-3 games and most wins was blow outs. But I also remember losing that year to Troy by 30 plus. We went to the sweet 16 with that team but we had more depth than GSU has now. It don't take long for teams to adjust and the second games around will be much closer if I was to guess

I am not predicting a national championship. I just like this team..A really good backcourt with a lot of defense and toughness inside..Depth is a problem that could hurt as the season goes on, but as of now things look good..
