Doubtful any impact is going to be noticed. Georgia State didn't draw well last year, so its unlikely that the first game of the season would have better attendance than last years games. And the draw of ACU isn't likely to pack 'em in.

If Ga State starts winning games, attendance will improve.

First week of school and most students are there on a Wed. If they promote it right it should be well attended.

Students turn out for the first game. And we will be the first college game in the United States. Cannot hurt.

At least they're trying. Better than sitting around doing the same **** they've been doing and expecting to draw

All they did is move the date because the rest of the week is taken.

Џ ► True. ► May generate some attention, and could be a TV game. Lot of people anticipate that first college football game.
Is it their first game ever? -vs- they could promote it as your first chance for a win since 2012. Could generate some legs.
Give 'em hell Panthers !

The Spring should generate interest. Could be 15 or 16 new starters including JUCOs at QB, RB and OL. That in itself should get people talking.

Honestly, I just feel bad for the staff of the Georgia dome. Potentially four games in four days. Afterwards they are going to be all "F--k this, I'm a hockey fan now. Lemme drive the Zamboni!"

They have done 3 in 3 multiple times. Actually they take some pride in the fact that few stadium staffs could accomplish this. I am sure there will be a time lapse video afterwards.

GA Dome worker #1: "Hey man, who's winning?"
GA Dome worker #2: "Who gives a sh*t. We have to change those end zone logos for the FOURTH time in next two hours."

Hockey.

Well, i'll surely watch. It will be Gast's first home win in three years. Thats reason enough to celebrate.

Plus, we really need Gast to win all of their OOC games against FCS teams this season.

Its just one game. The other OOC games are Air Force, @Clemson, @Washington

Probably gets some sort of TV coverage (ESPN3 or ESPNU). BEing the first game of the year it'll get a slight bump in ratings.
