Any Georgia State fans know why the ASU/GSU women's game is in Jonesboro this week, while the Men are in Atlanta? Seems odd.

Hoping we have turned that corner and continue our Arkansas success at home with the Louisiana duo.

Sometimes. It was only 1:15am when I posted that

Sleep is for the weak.

Despite not playing an opponent, UTA will still find a way to lose in the last minutes.

That's been a chant every so often over the years at UTA home games.

EDIT: One year, it was warm up the stache after it was apparent that UTA had victory in hand.

First Sun Belt basketball game I have seen on TV and it is obvious Louisiana is much better than Texas St.

We just aren't good at basketball this year. We got a good coach though, so things should look up in the coming years.

ASU hosts Georgia State's women in an oddly scheduled game tomorrow. Men play in Atlanta Thursday, but the Women play in Jonesboro. Only time on the Calendar this happens.

While not quite the same gap, we have a couple of oddities.

First, on Thursday (Wednesday for the women) we hosted Louisiana-Monroe. Then on Saturday, we play at Louisiana-Lafayette. It doesn't make sense to me to A) have travel partners if you don't actually partner them and B) have the women play ULM at 7:30 on Wednesday and the men play them at noon on Thursday.

We haven't been very good over the last decade either here at Ga. Southern, so I am keenly aware of how it is to watch a poor team. When our fans are just hoping for a .500 year you know our team has not been very good.
