CBS Ranks the best bowl games
SBC did well:

14. New Orleans Bowl ULL vs Tulane
7. Go Daddy Bowl ASU vs Ball State

ASU/Ball State was rated the top game involving two G5 schools. Only game involving a G5 game ranked higher was Washington State/Colorado State

Both games were close, went to the last minutes and were well attended. The SBC did well. I am looking forward to next year and beyond when more SBC teams will be in bowls.

This sounds bad, but I don't want our bowl games to be among the best.

I want our bowl games to be among the best attended. And I want us to destroy our competition. It was partly why I was sad to hear the Cajuns QB wasn't 100%. The kid is special, and could have really done some great things to SHOW the differences between the two conferences.

Two reasons that game was higher.....the WSU/CSU it was the first one and turned into a whale of a game.....But SBC did well with two good games and if I dare say a great crowd in NO and a good one for nite prior to championship in Mobile.

No doubt the Go Daddy Bowl was more exciting this year.

I thought the GoDaddy Bowl was a very exciting game. Boy was I hacked when I lost the stAte radio network with about 7 minutes left in the game and couldn't get it back.01-lauramac2

Other than the fact that we kicked C-USA in the nads, I wouldn't have thought the Cajun game would rate than high. Having said that, it's always exciting when a game is literally decided on the last play.
