The last time UNT beat ASU, John Kerry was running for president.

That guy is a couple of lanes short of a traffic jam.

That guy insists that UTA, TXST and UNT aren't peers. While TXST has been a hair better in most sports than UTA, the Mavs have been better head-to-head against the Lean.

Volleyball - UTA leads 53-8, UNT has won the last three.
Football - UNT leads 9-3, last played in 1985
Men's basketball - UNT leads 28-23, UTA has won 5 of the last 7. Mean Green buy out contract for game in Arlington this year.
Women's Basketball - UNT leads 29-27, UNT has a one game winning streak.
Softball - UTA leads 24-15, UTA lost two one-run games last year.
Baseball - UTA leads 21-1, last played in 1988.

The main differences is that UTA has a baseball team while UNT has a football team. Otherwise, we seem to match up better against them than vice versa. For decades, even without a team, UTA had a better football stadium.

Yet Joshdude and a couple of other still think that Southwest Conference invite is coming.

UNT fans think they are so superior to everyone in the SBC. UTSA had a good laugh after their game with them.

We have a couple posters who aren't the greatest football minds and on top of that are incredibly cocky while refusing to be remotely objective, surprise surprise. We're finally good at football again and they don't know how to handle it. You all should take these types of posts with a grain of salt.

Congrats on your good season this year. But please understand that if fans come on here, especially given UNT's record prior to leaving the Sun Belt casting shade, its not going to be received well.

Its Josh. I take nothing that he says seriously, but love to quote him on it when he's wrong.

Congrats on your win!

The problem is that certain UNT fans came over here putting down ASU saying Ball State will win by 18-21 points. 03-lmfao

Congrats on your win!!

Everyone's got them. We had them when we were going to the playoffs in FCS. We had them this season after we beat Wyoming (and that win turned out to be not so great after all).

It's why I don't sweat the trolls.

Exactly. I think it's even a little part of the fun of college sports.

I can't wait until we have a good reason to produce some trolls again! (Apparently we did back in the span of time between announcing football and playing football...which we will undoubtedly be reminded of until the end of the internet. Gotta love the swagger of hope...!)
