If you'd like, we could talk about FIU's bowl game this year. When is the Toilet Bowl played?
A former SB is playing on the Heart of Dallas bowl. Where's the thread for this game?
I'll expand upon that further. Tulane played the Cajuns. That is obvious.
East Carolina against Ohio. While there was no specific thread, it was mentioned in several others that the MAC doesn't deserve to be in that bowl.
Marshall and Maryland. No impact on the SBC whatsoever. Most here are always glad to have a P5 loss to a G5, but no one was compelled enough to start a thread about a game that was concluded.
Middle Tennessee and Navy. The first post in that thread was about the poor temperament of MTSU, gouging players eyes and unnecessary shenanigans. That made national news as well.
Rice and Mississippi St. A G5 conference champ losing to a barely-in, had-to-win-two-in-a-row-just-to-be-bowl-eligible P5 school by an embarrassing 37 points is note worthy. That thread would have been started by someone if the same thing happened to the AAC, MAC or MWC school on this board. it added extra meaning because it backs up everything we have been saying, C-USA is no longer the premiere football conference it once was.
UNT and UNLV. I watched the game on TV and didn't visit the board. I'm sure I am not the only one. UNT being a former SBC member creates a link, but in the end, what is noteworthy about the game?
