The OP already has both those teams removed from the AAC. So the only way it will really change is if UConn leaves for another conference.

Yes, the OP showed that the Old Big East revenue was $66 million and the AAC without UL, Rutgers, West Virginia, etc is $42 million. Its over on the AAC board.

Fascinating. And relevant here because...? Perhaps some people on the CUSA board would be interested.

RE: Total Revenues by Team (2013)
From what the people from Virginia tell me one reason that the Virginia schools tend to have such high numbers is because the state forces them to show certian things in that number that others states allow schools to hide. Not sure what those items are or if schools like ours choose to show them anyway but they say that is why their budget numbers (and revenue numbers) look so high.

Is there a reason to quote the ENTIRE post for your reply that is only 1 line? No need to quote the entire thing.

Those items include for example:

Marching band
Athletic training staff and supplies
Etc.

Where as almost all other Universities assign the marching band expenses to the music department and training staff expenses to the school department that teaches that and assigns most of the staff and supply, the VA schools include all of that in their athletic budgets.

The same money is being spent, just assigned to different buckets.

I believe at Kent the Marching Band does have a budget through the athletic dept. I say this because they were always the ones approving our budgetary requests and everything we did went through the athletic dept with a few exceptions as the band director would be through the music school since he is not just the marching band director but also a teacher in the school of music.
