Just wondering if it might end up hurting bowl attendance with a sort of "been there, done that" thing, especially if it happened in the same season.
Winning solves everything but it really depend on the opponent in both event. If we play a west coast team that doesn't travel than the game would suffer. Cajun fans are always looking for an excuse to go party in New Orleans. I feel we would travel pretty good to Houston also because there are lots of Cajun fans that lives there.

I'm tired of New Orleans, I would rather go to a different bowl and leave those SOB's wondering why they had a 30k drop off in attendance. They were started by the Sun Belt and have now severed ties as our main bowl tie in on an annual basis opting for Tulane and the AAC. All because Louisiana Ragin Cajuns have raised their prestige. They will fall flat on their faces.

Well may be USM is on the list, but they have been to the NOLA Bowl trice and are just a little over the 30K mark once, 27K mark the other time, and around 18K in their third. They have played the Lamers for almost as long as I can remember and none of those games have ever had as many fans as when we play the Lamers, not even close and USM used to be a proud and good program.
For the NOLA Sports authority to take them over UL is an absurd lack of history and understanding. The Louisiana Cajuns will bring it, because we love NOLA and we love a challenge.

This chart says it all, and that's before the latest record crowd of 54,728.
