We have had em bruh. Stowers end followed by interim coach also See VanGorder year followed up by Hatcher years. Our fans stuck with the team. 07-coffee3

Now if you are talking beyond embarrassing totally pathetic years like GaState, well then you may be onto something.

I lived in this state my whole life and every kid in high school and the children of my friends and family have never said GaState is my first choice. It has always been out of convenience of being able to live at home and save a few bucks.

Take it to the smack thread! I have no issue discussing it there.

Truth is not smack. I guess the remark about your "campus" was a little over the line...a little. My bad bro. 04-cheers
I dont care what you say dude. I am downtown a couple times a week and it is a beautiful downtown. I am not speculating about a campus I saw in 1988. I actually go and have lunch or dinner downtown and walk around in 2014. But its a pointless discussion because that is not what its really about. So I started a smack thread and you put all of your hot mess thoughts there.

I guess its true what they say about opinions.....I go downtown regularly as well and Atl's downtown is regularly criticized COMPARED to most large cities. I have seen many large downtown's and all were laid out and much nicer than ATL's.

Any way GS might land another big three star guy soon.

Buddy, I gotta call Bull on this. Within the past 12 months, I've been to downtowns of NYC, Philly, NOLA, and Miami. They range from nothing special (Miami, NOLA) to absolutely disgusting (NYC, Philly). The NE absolutely has embraced and mastered the idea of public transit. But, cleanliness they are far from Atlanta.

Yes seems like a good player not sure why he did not sign on NSD.

I believe he was on the "wait list" for a BCS team. Cant blame the kid, now he has had to start over.

Lots of bravado as per usual07-coffee3

But you don't know what could happen. Your basing everything on a hope and a prayer. You could win 10 games or you could lose them all. History says you will not win 10. What happens when you lose at home more than once in a season?

Didn't say the worst, I hear Baghdad's downtown is pretty lousy as well. Also we are just talking about downtown and the area around your "campus" don't be trying to slip in any other areas. I can give a ton more that are in a different class. You hear it every time there is a major event here that ATL's downtown is hodge podge at best no real center. Which is due mainly to past corrupt officials letting companies tear down older historical areas to put up concrete monstrosities wherever they wanted to. I've seen PBS documentaries on this as well as the one where it took a grass roots effort to save the Fox. Also there is the whole crime thing that is always in the top ten. Bottom line the ATL is never ever going to make a list like this. http://livability.com/top-10/top-10-down...collins/co

I did not predict anything. Do you actually read the post? Among GS fans I am far less optimistic than the majority and am on the its going to be rough side. I would be fine with .500 the next two years. I merely was calling you out on the "sub par" season comment. Before Monken we had FOUR "sub par" seasons in a row with three different coaches some even in the realm of your records lately and we never had a significant dip in support and bounced back. http://cfbdatawarehouse.com/data/div_iaa...esults.php That was with playing teams in DIV II and schools the size of your local day care. So no disputing we may lose 10 or more but we have been in that area before with no problems. I think our fans will be slightly more forgiving losing to full scholly FBS and BCS teams than Central Connecticut State...well at least an outside chance anyway.

Our attendance actually improved year to year with the horrible results we had from 2006-2009, so there's some historical evidence to point out that our fans won't just stop showing up.
