Georgia has hedges, State plays at "Tha Dome", Tech has Grant Field & We have the prettiest little stadium with the prettiest miniature field....

I agree.

It's a little quirky, but I'm all for it so long as there isn't a demand for more seating in the years to come.

The kids that toss footballs around behind the end zone already look like they're having a blast. Imagine how awesome they'll think it is to be playing on a manicured field inside of a big stadium with 20,000+ roaring.

If I were a 5-10 year old kid, it would be the highlight of my week and I'd pitch a fit if mom and dad said we were skipping a home game.

Never underestimate the power of making kids go nuts for something. Those moms aren't punching each other every Black Friday over the 'toy of the year' for their own amusement.

There will not be seating in front of the new building for the foreseeable future, if ever. The weight room is on the ground floor and will have great views out onto the field. It will be a selling point of the weight room that as you do that next rep, you'll be looking out on the field. Doubt that ever gets shut off.

Bishop gets bowled in and decked/incorporated into a new facade before seats go in front of the FOC. Paulson is going to be our version of the Horseshoe moving forward.

Not a fan of the mini field. As I say to App fans who say we should never get rid of the bank because it is a great place for families to sit so their children can play. This is a football stadium not a day care. Play with your kids in the parking lot before the game. Once you step inside those gates it's all about the game. Give me some seats sin those endzones and enclose that sucker.

That is one of the great things about cell phones not working well inside the stadium. You are there to watch the game, not tweet. I do like the fact that the mini field and kid zone will bring in more families to the game that otherwise would have stayed at home because of the kids though.

I don't know if this has been said, but what is the estimated updated capacity when/if all these renovations take place? 25k? 30k? 35k?

24.5 was the number i've been hearing. Not that the extra 500 matter.

This current renovation. The next will be extended the home side, adding an additional 3000 seats, I believe. Other than that, there hasn't been any real concrete statements as to what would get done next.

The cheapest seating additions would probably be beside or above the current smaller fieldhouse. Decking the home side would be tricky due to the current press/luxury boxes.

Pretty cool video they put together. Really helps bring it to life and see how it will look. I reminds me of FC Dallas Stadium the way the concessions are built. The stadium will look great when its all done.
