Scout, Yahoo Sports, and USA Today all have us playing in the AdvoCare V100 Bowl (Independence Bowl). Scout has us playing Syracuse and both Yahoo Sports and USA Today have us playing Boston College.

If we played Boston College that would be a great match up between two of the best running backs in college football.

Sports reporter in Mobile tweeted that the LCB had picked WKU over USA to play Central Michigan. Probably nothing true to this at all. Just the usual static noise around this time of year.

I think the odds are close to zero. USA OR TROY would get it first I think. Troy being he front runner

Chad Bishop checked his sources and just tweeted that WKU to Little Caesars "ain't happening".

Someone retweeted last year's announcement and he thought it was for this year. He's already dome the mea culpa on his twitter account.

LOL....twitter is the greatest and worst tool for information sharing on the planet. Yet some believe if it's tweeted, it must be true.

He is saying that he is hearing of another team to LCB...

I'm glad I don't tweet, never will tweet, and certainly don't understand why it seems all the rage. Isn't this place good enough for posting random thoughts?

When I'm following a game on ESPN's gamecast, nothing is more aggravating than assorted idiots I don't know and don't care to know, tossing in their two cents worth via tweets and interrupting the flow of information.

May they all die in a horrible chemical fire.

Pretty much everything that could go wrong to keep Troy out of a bowl has. Guess we will find out later today tho.

I say everyone tell the NCAA to go to hell and create their own on-the-fly game hosting another left out team.

I've thought about that a few times. And that's the problem. I'm sure the NCAA would have something to say about it.

Pitt thinks they are in the LCPB according to twitter. As far as I know, the only bowl left with a spot is the Independence Bowl, and most think Arizona is a lock for it.

I don't think the Independence Bowl can announce yet because the Sugar Bowl has to choose between Oklahoma and Oregon first. That changes who goes where.

There were some small twitter rumors that Texas St still had a shot at HOD with UNT. But looks like UNLV is going there now. HOD picked a 7-5 team 1500 miles away over a 6-6 team in the state. Really sucks. They won't sell as many tickets. Though it makes me laugh cause UNT was so certain they were going to play ND or a BCS team.

CUSA worked out a deal with ESPN to give a Pac 12 team the CUSA slot in Hawaii in exchange for MWC's slot in Armed Forces, and the MWC looks to have gotten the HoD slot in that deal.

7-5 team SHOULD go before a 6-6.
