We only lost on the boards because of all of their rebounds off of missed free throws.

Always kind of enjoy perusing Mimis game comments. They are quite interesting and well, humorous.

To me we look better in the half court game than we do pushing the ball down the floor. Getting the ball inside early set the whole tone to the game..the 1st game with them all we did was play outside and OSU did not worry about us inside at all..that's the 1st game in pastners tenure here that I saw a real offense with a purpose, and Coach Pastner worked it along with players, running it to perfection..If we do what we did last night we can beat anybody...

Still looking for an explanation from the numerous people who have said that we need to improve rebounding based on last night's game. Still haven't received one...

Glad to see someone else is aware that we did a great job on the glass.

The offense has been great the entire season; and has clicked using virtually every style imagineable. Very few of our players have played significant minutes together. For a work in progress; we have done very well.

also, at the beginning of the game they got like 5 boards in one possession in what was basically like a tip drill because they couldn't hit a layup. Basically, we out rebounded them.

I totally disagree..we looked like a totally different squad last night and I would have said the same if we had lost..in most the games we've played they have ran up and down the floor like there pants are on fire..if you didn't see the difference in the offense ran last night compared to past games then I don't know what to tell ya..there was no comparison..LSU maybe but in the first 5 to 10 min. In that game we were trying to win a track meet and turned it over like crazy..we ran a half court offense pretty much the whole game last night and we never do that..

I'm surprised you didn't end it all after last night, on account of you cheering for the team to lose every game after the first OSU loss.

I guess you came sniveling on your belly to get back on the Memphis bandwagon?

The offense was much better last night. We jumped from around 46 to 26 in the Kenpom offensive efficiency ratings, while our defense held firm at around 14. We've really cut down on turnovers.

And I think one of the reasons we cut down on them is because we didn't push the ball last night like we normally do..

We did well in all four offensive factors.

We shot well. (.523% from 2pt; .333% from 3pt).
We rebounded well on the offensive end (14 offensive rebounds).
We didn't turn the ball over, especially against a team that is top 10 in steals (only 9 TOs).
We got to the line (Thanks Joe!) (Shot 24 FTs to 44 FG attempts)

Well I've been on that wagon for 35 years now, so I think I'm qualified to have a differing opinion from time to time.

Differing opinion is fine, but you told us all that you were actively rooting against our kids after our last loss, so that their coach would lose his job.

It was classless then, and it's even more classless for you to be here now. You ought to be ashamed of yourself.

Your signature picture of Pastner holding up the 1-5 Black sign is deliciously ironic though. We don't need fans like this. Criticizing the coach is one thing, but actively hoping our players fail for your own agenda is deplorable. You ought to do the honorable thing and exile yourself from the rest of us "fans".

And that's all I'll say on the topic.

And won- with Johnson making the key late steal, Jackson making the clinching free throws, Crawford making a massive three and a massive layup late, and Dixon putting up 5 points in very little time to give Memphis the lead for good.

The 4 bums.

You really need to cool it with this. You are not helping anything. Let people rant during the game and ignore them. It is what every single fan base in America does. We are not unique.

We are averaging 12.7 turnovers per game; which is amazing considering the fact that the offense is new; very few players have played significant minutes together, the style we play, plus the fact that 3 of the games have been against very good competition.

The offense has been excellent the whole season. We are shooting .487 from the field. If we can tidy up the 3 point shooting and free throw shooting it will be phenomenal. We are getting good shots and open looks all around.

Some people get their kicks bashing and slashing in an anonymous manner. It gives them a little power. It will not stop them by calling them out. As soon as we have another negative moment they will be back louder and harder. It's just the cyber world we live in.
