Congrates on your bowl victory last night! We've one more to play and then a real bowl game. Enjoy your Christmas at home...the more things change, the more they remain the same.03-nutkick

You heard/read it here first. USA will beat Lafayette-LA Saturday night and that will put them bowl eligible.

Very well could be even had Broadway played. Playing a RFr quarterback makes the job that much harder. Go Cajuns! Stomp Mobile U!

FYI, Crazy. Mobile U. is a little Baptist college in Prichard, north of Mobile. They don't have a football team, but the University of South Alabama does. That's who y'all will be playing Saturday night in Mobile. Your team will definitely know the difference, even though you can't seem to get it.

That's a nice little school.

When I was in college I taught Civil War history there over the summer.

They might get it, but they will know they're in Mobile as soon as they see the hood around the stadium. Mobile U or S.Ala, sounds the same to me!04-rock

Bringing up the previous streak will not change that. Bringing up our bowl berth won't change that.

I would want as many SBC bowl bids as possible. But, I don't think I want ULM getting one. I think that is part of what having a rivalry is all about. I dislike ULM and that's ok. They dislike us. I never understood this obsession with a rival being your equal.

After all, as a Saints fan I considered the 49ers a rivalry in the 80s/90s even though they took us to the woodshed constantly.

They won the game and beat us fair and square but we threw 3 picks, 2 in the end zone and missed a field goal and lost by 3. I wouldn't say handled us comfortably. And our starting qb broke his arm. Not making excuses, they won, they beat us...but not comfortably .

I thought ULL abandoned the running game a little early. They were moving the ball rather easily on ULM. Broadway just got too rattled and started making mistakes.
