Well, it's over. WKU will never play a SBC football game again. Thank you SBC for being there for us as we moved to FBS. Without you, it wouldn't have happened. It's been a great 5 year run. It's unreal how quickly we rose from the bottom of the SBC in our first two years after transition to FBS and the last 3 years of finishing in the top half of the SBC. Many great games won and lost. We didn't win a championship but we were competitive. As I've said numerous times, WKU won't be Bowling this year and that's OK. I knew it was an uphill climb going into this season anyway. I'm just happy we had a great season, continued our winning season streak and have a bright future. I sincerely wish all of you success. Like many other Toppers, we'll always respect the SBC football programs. Hell, you're all teams in Southern states where football is King.

We still have basketball, baseball and other sports to compete in as a SBC member until June 30th but football is over now so I figured it was time to say goodbye.

It has been real.

Although you may be just kidding, I know many here are happy to see us go and will be glad when our fans are gone from the board. It's just the way things are.....

I'm sad to see y'all go. It wasn't long ago y'all were FCS with us. Y'all took a crap program after the move up and turned into a contender. Good luck in CUSA. I wouldn't be surprised if our paths cross again in the future.

I'm just glad we got that win over you on the field before you left. Enjoy the new SBC.

USA will always be willing to play y'all in football, basketball or baseball..We do seem to do pretty well against y'all in all those sports if I recall correctly. :-)
