bonds, I can actually deal with. SJ is a stultifying and retarded brick wall of silly factoids.

but I think SJ will have his hands full dealing with all of his friends from UCF.

I've never read an ECU fan's post that is longer than a couple sentences.

I'll admit, I will somewhat miss SJ and his way of framing the greatness that is ECU because of the amusement , but I'm sure WKU, or someone will have some idiot to take his place.

We will have all the WKU fans coming in to replace the ECU ones. An even trade. (Or maybe not. A few ECU fans please stay to help us D:)

Because one would be talking about the Marshall-Rice championship, or the ending of Alabama-Auburn, or USM breaking their streak without ECU fans...

We got our ass kicked, big deal it happens. Marshall looked more athletic to me on Saturday, no clue how that bunch lost to Ohio. We still own longterm football smack on everyone in this league not named USM, it just wasn't our day Saturday. So no, I'm not running from anything.

I'll tell you why the AAC is not a lateral move. The bulk of our games will now be televised and on ESPN, basketball too. I think that alone will raise our profile. Goodluck to Marshall and Rice in the championship game.

the move to AAC is def an upgrade. though not as much in football than in hoops. I would think most of us in CUSA would jump at the chance to join.

It's really pretty significant in football too. Now I agree that perception wise it might not be that significant.

Yet another Pirate living in 1996. The ESPN argument is tired and played out and honestly pretty lame. There are literally hundreds of ways to view sports from a magnitude of channels to the internet to smart phones to tablets to actually going to a live event. The days of sitting and watching only ESPN are long gone and your avg fan is going to flip through the menu and see Temple vs SMU and keep going just like they will UAB vs North Texas. They will tune in if a team is undefeated and ranked just like they will any team or they will tune in on a day when not much else is going on and they remember the game is on. ALL sports channels offer this not just ESPN. Time to step into this decade...actually this century.

Significant in what way? What extra access does the 'Murica have in getting into the 4 team playoff that the rest of the conferences don't? What extra access does the 'Murica have in getting I to the newly added BCS Bowl game next year that the rest of the non Power 5 don't?

Look no further than the quality of our coverage on CBS college sports on Friday. The camera work was High School quality. Not to mention of the off the beaten path Fox networks you can be put on in C-USA that aren't even in HD.

We are rarely on TV for hoops now, we will be on TV on a regular basis in the AAC.

I don't know about you but outside of local broadcasts and CSS I've seen all CUSA games and they were all in HD...

And the reason ECU hasn't been on TV is because we've never been good until Lebo came around.

Looks like y'all never missed us because apparently we never left. Not like y'all would miss us either way but it looks like you're stuck with us unless the mods perpetually ban all ECU fans.04-cheers
