Who knows... You know as well as I do they want butts in the seats and tickets sold... Not saying this is going to happen but we would probably sell more tickets than ASU
And we'd sell more hotel rooms and are popular with the locals.
Not sure about that. Most Troy fans stayed over night. Our hotel was full and most downtown were. And we are a popular team there last time as well.
I don't really think the bowl cares much about hotel sells regardless.
The host city also looks for that revenue that can impact the local economy...don't oversimplify it.

This is true. Bringing money into the local economy is a very big deal because the local community is what often keeps the Bowl alive.
