You all are under estimating the Tulane football team. The second year Tulane coach CJ Johnson has done a wonderful job recruiting for the last two years in state. In my opinion second in recruiting to only LSU A&M in state. Our defense is one of the best in CUSA. Nick Montana,Orleans Darkwa and Ryan Grant can get it going against the University of a Louisiana at Lafayette. It will be a very close and interesting game. Do not forget one player who could decide the game in Tulane's favor. Carlos Santos, last years Lou Groza award winner field goal kicker.

You've obviously never partied in New Orleans with 45,000 of your team's fan base. No, we will never tire of New Orleans. This is becoming a tradition. Everyone in my circle of friends has already made their hotel reservations for over three weeks now. There is no sports destination better than New Orleans. This will definately be a top 10 bowl in attendance. Geaux Cajuns!COGS
OK "Z" and "CrazyCajun", get us in somthing better than the NOB and I'll kiss your A--. No one is breaking the door down for us to accept their bowl invitation other than NO and GoDaddy. It's as simple as our conference affiliation. All I see from you guys are insults to your own fan base. I guess you could do better for us than Coach Hud and Scott Farmer. With friends like you, who needs enemies.

Yep, a tradition much like loving the status-quo! This is the problem with a large number of the UL fans base, a little success is just enough. The NO Bowl is just fine, because we can't accomodate our fan base with an easy drive and playing indoors at any other bowl. I get so excited about this programs's future reading such post. Why would any Cajun fan push this administration for something more in the future beyond the SBC and the NO Bowl? .......The NO Bowl is just too good of a destination to ever consider any other bowl.

Maybe we can start scheduling McNeese, NWST and Lamar again... Thise are all within a 3 hour drive...
Reading some of the crap posted on RP really makes me wonder if we are ready to bump up in stature??
We already have a thread on RP bitching about the price of tickets to the NO Bowl
We do N O next with HUDS best team ever... we have a major ******* problem
If you want to stay small time, get away from me.

Tulane is always great at overestimating...I mean they do it with their attendance all the time.

Have you been to a Tulane football game in the Superdome this year. I estimate 20,000 seats full with Tulane fans. As you know most of our alumni reside all over the United States particularly in the a Northeast.

Tulane is lucky to have 10,000 real live butts in the seats.

You will be presently surprised to see between 20,000 to 25,000 Tulane fans in stands. Stop knocking Tulane.

Quit exaggerating.

12,000 fans will show up at most.

this was apparently 23,000 people last season...so forgive me if I don't seem to enthralled by your record breaking numbers. Turnstile counts proved Tulane averaged 5500 people for the past few years with low numbers around 2500. Yall will get up to not get embarrassed, but I'm guessing 35,000 cajuns, 15,000 Tulane.

Enough with the attendance smack. My God. We haven't had a winning season in 11 years. Duh it was empty.

I would much rather you use last year's game as your ammo.

I'm so sick of attendance numbers UL doesn't average 48,000 at home but that's what we got to go to a bowl game. Who's to say what Tulane will bring to the game geeze enough with trying to belittle other programs. Lots of the people that go to the game and wore red because we are in state might now wear green who knows.

You have a fantastic coach. I hope that you do not lose him to a larger conference team. Our former Saints wide receiver coach has turned this Tulane program around. If we play it should be a close game and fun in the stands and French Quartet.

Sorry, yall don't get to count empty seats as fans in this game and it shouldn't even be remotely close. It'll be exciting for Tulame fans, but excuse me if I think a team that beat a bunch of bottom feeders in the worst conference in America is gonna be much more than fodder for the cajuns with weeks to prepare for the game. The spread will not be close.

Your guys' arrogance is off the scales. It's amusing, especially coming off a loss to a school you insult and berate on a daily basis.
