2005 MAC Championship
2008 MAC Championship
2010 MAC Championship
2011 CUSA Championship

Lot of football left to be played. I fully expect BG to lay it all on the line.

We are going to see the EIU type play calls. Onsides, fake punts and going for it on a good amount of 4th downs.

RE: San Jose State vs. Visiting Team game thread!
SJST won because of philosophy/coaching.

If you spent the 4 hrs, stayed up til 1-2 am watching them you notice one very big thing: Fresno gets VERY frustrated offensively when things don't go their way, they don't have the ball.

Onside K, 6 minute drive to open 2nd, ran more. Carr, his pals and the coach had to be besides thmeselves, just liek they were for most of the SDST game until they ran out of gas.

They played a very good game and I give those guys a LOT of credit. 6k Fresno fans there and they took every shot they had, responded, took control.

Contrary to the Fresno philosophy, the object of a football game is not to try and score the most point you possibly can. Rather, just more than the team you are playing. That's what NIU did vs WMU.

MD, you really should stop calling teams "very very bad". On rivalry weekend, teams with mediocre seasons often step up their game and defeat a team that have been more consistent.

LEAVE GLUM ALONE.... he's gloom and doom, usually wrong, has no realistic heights to reach, when wrong moves on to the next topic he knows little about, will complain some more even during a joyous time for NIU about getting screwed somehow. But I guess it's fun in the end when you are wrong.

Then again, maybe not.

I's rather not say. But I would be ready for an "I told you so" from him in that scenario.

Your brains froze at the WMU game. It's understandable they don't work now.
