I'll make every bracket publicly viewable on the website sometime shortly after the first round kicks off, along with some descriptive statistics of the aggregate picking trends and the leaderboard.

So when I was crunching the aggregate data from the brackets, the numbers weren't adding up. Upon further analysis, I discovered that all participants who included the " ' " character in their bracket name did not have their brackets saved. I'm 95% sure this is related to the sanitizer I was using to protect the database.

Thankfully, this only affected a few brackets. Pitz, unfortunately yours was one of them. If you see this before Saturday, please go ahead and resubmit your bracket (if you haven't already under a new name). Note that the problem remains unfixed due to the holiday schedule, so obviously leave the ' out :). Sorry for this.

This leaves the current bracket count back down to 89, which is still a great number!

I think I had them matching up with ewu, but i gave ewu the nod. It was tough to decide though.

We're up to 116 brackets!

Due to some travel plans that came up, I had to shut down the bracket selection 20 minutes early. We now stand at 149 brackets. I'm extremely pleased with the interest, and I want to thank you all so much once again for participating!

I have now uploaded the main website that will allow everyone to view all brackets, see the autoscoring leaderboard, and view aggregate projection statistics of each team's survival percentages by round and by potential matchup. EDIT: I just looked at your predictions in the database, and they don't match the (incorrect) bracket that is displayed by clicking on your bracket. This is an interesting bug that I'll be looking into, and hopefully it's merely a visualization problem. Let me know what your picks are, anyway, so I can make sure your predictions are also correctly stored in the database.

I believe I found the error. It was a cosmetic problem, and hopefully it's fixed now. Sorry again.

7 out of 8 in the first round.. not bad.

haha. no worries. I was just going to have to go back and throw out whatever it was I was drinking when I made those picks if they were real.

So I scrolled down and couldn't figure out where I was on the leaderboard, then shocked myself to find I am tied for 3rd place and neither of the entrants in 1st or 2nd place have NDSU winning another championship. I feel pretty good about my odds right now, though I cannot root for the underdogs to win it.

DEEEJ and UNH fan jumped ahead of me. UNH fan also has NDSU winning, so no way can I win, but I guess I could finish #2. Oh well!
