Don't see it happening with 7 wins. Troy has the luxury of being close to a bowl that might (odds in their favor) of needing a team, so a win against us should put them in the bowl.

But the way we've played the past few weeks... we don't deserve it. Maybe next year.

Honestly, we don't deserve a bowl game either. This team has dropped the ball too many times when victory was in our grasp. We have good talent, it just never clicked for us this season.

By all means I hope for a win and a bowl invite, I'll certainly be in attendance if we go. We'll just have to see how bad the seniors want it this weekend.

The football team deserves it, if they get it.

What time does the game come on?

I hope it isn't during the Iron Bowl because that is definitely the game of the week. If I can actually get work off I'll be watching that one for sure.

Is that when the Iron Bowl is? Weird...

Oh well I'm missing the game Friday because of work. What a shame I don't get to see the excitement of vying for that ultra impressive sixth win.

Ya, well I may be at the game alone. All my friends are busy with family plans for thanksgiving. This games attendance is gonna suck!

What was the rationale for having it on Friday? Was it an ESPN thing?

I kinda count on any game the day after Thanksgiving to be poorly attended and most likely poorly viewed on Television. Too many folks busy with family and such to watch a game like this, unless it's to determine the league champion. Which is honestly why I'd have figured the Cajuns/Warhawks game would be in this slot.

Don't get me wrong, playing on TV? I'll take it any day of the week... Just figured from a business standpoint that might have been a better plan.

Troy doesn't make the schedule... Espn and the SBC does.

Troy is almost giving tickets away for free to get people out.

Blakeney said if you want tickets come find him and he will give them to you. Lol. He knows this game will be hard to get people to attend.

My guess is ESPN3 wanted a Sun Belt game to televise on Friday, and the league chose Troy. In reality, it makes sense because a game on Saturday would be just as sparsely crowded because of the Iron Bowl. At least by having it on Friday, a few people might show up.

I JUST realised Friday's game is at 1pm. I have to work. Friday game at 6pm would have been no big deal. Fantastic.

I guessing it's all about the Iron Bowl and nothing to do with ESPN3.

ESPN3 comes in after games are scheduled and just picks them up; schools set game times for the ESPN3 contests.

Not likely...

I'm being sarcastic. But it will be a lowly attended game.
