No, but some of the expert fans think so.

Play those who haven't played that much this year (as long as no redshirts are taken up)

Play the seniors who haven't played much this year.

Who will finish ranked #124 in the country.

This is crazy can UAB go from #24 to #124 in 10 years.

Southern Miss did it in 1 year.

After the way the season has been going, why is anyone surprised at the outcome of this game? Why do people, week after week, flip out and huff and puff and act like this is a surprise and demand answers and changes? Nothing is ever going to change. UAB football is never going to get better, especially when so many (relatively) people are willing to keep going to games and dumping money in no matter what. If they can count on getting paid season after season like this, why would they ever put in any effort to change?

I plan to dump more money in and will be there Thursday night to support my team. I'll save a seat on the band wagon for when we turn things around.

Nothing that has happened under McGee has made us worse off than we were. We just started with a poor, inexperienced team to begin with. Injuries have made things appear worse this season than they likely are. McGee brought in a very good recruiting class last year and I trust he'll do the same again. Will be very interesting to see what he does with the defensive staff in the offseason.

What makes you guys think he'll get a great recruiting class? Serious question. Other than instant playing time(even that is not a given), what's he got to sell?

A great academic degree excluded.

All I want for Christmas is a bowl eligible UAB.

This. Haase has proven he can bring worthy guys in. If he is half the coach McGee believes he is our basketball program is set for 5 years. I don't get how we get a football recruiting class worth anything

Well Haase can help us in football recruiting by getting marquee matchups in basketball and creating an awesome environment. I've long thought that a fun Bartow experience is a good sell for football recruits.
