That's nice. Would be a nice win for ULM...beating up on other "mid-majors" is good. Though, UALR is down by 11 to MTSU and stAte down by 12 to Colorado.

Lets be clear...Colorado is not a mid major. They were an At large team to the tourney last year.

Yeah...I was really just stating the rest of the scores...it all just meshed together.

Halftime in Boulder...only two ASU players have scored.

Thankfully those players have combined for 28 points...but we're still down 18.

South Alabama and ULM with wins tonight as those games are now final. UALR falls to MTSU.

Really impressed/intrigued by ULM's first two games. They're clearly way ahead of last year.

Brady threw a bunch of things in the locker room, and Brandon Reed took heart and scored 19 in the 2nd half. We cut it to 8 in 5 minutes time.

Problem is that now only three players have scored and Colorado has pulled away

Score now

Colorado 86
Brandon Reed, Melvin Johnson and Kirk Van Slyke 61
Rest of ASU 2

Last night was a good night for the Belt as we rose from 22 to 18 in RPIforecast's "expected RPI" calculation.

Agree. ULM is impressive thus far. Not impressive like at large impressive. But, obviously a marked improvement.

I watched the game last night through the athletic site. Not sure how strong of a test Samford was (11 wins last year) but the team seems much improved. I wondered about the Kansas game and was it first game mistakes and playing everyone for Kansas, especially with them knocking off Duke. Team looked pretty solid with a lot of hustle. Richard finally has some scholarship players he can coach. The freshman PG (Copola) made some nice passes.

Thursday night should give us a better understanding of this ULM team. Northwestern is a quality opponent (tournament team last year) having already knocked off Auburn and playing pretty well against LSU.
